Workshops 2014
A – “Deeper in Prayer”
Few Christians are satisfied with their prayer life. Whether you are just learning the joys of prayer or need to see a measure of revitalization in your prayer life, this workshop will help you deepen your understanding of how and why you should pray. A - “Single and Seeking” While God's Word doesn't give us a blueprint for navigating singleness and pursuing marriage, it does give heavenly principles. Learn together what these principles are and how to live them out. A – “Homosexuality: A Losing Battle?” Can the church stand against the cultural tidal wave of homosexuality and gay marriage? Come develop a vision for how believers can boldly and lovingly engage in this battle. |
B – “Your Place in the Church”
What role does God have for you in the Church? Surely His desire for your life is broader than attending worship each week. Join us to expand your vision for His Kingdom, as you explore your place and purpose in the Local Church. B – “Basics of Money Management” While the love of money is the root of all evil, God has entrusted us as stewards over His resources. But does the Bible really give us advice about managing our finances? Come and learn Biblical wisdom for money management. B – “Preparing for the Future” (Women Only!) It is easy for women to be confused and uncertain about how to prepare and plan for their futures. Should they focus on family or career? Come and explore what the Bible says about this crucial topic. |
