Workshops 2015
A – “A Light to My Path”
Committing the Bible to heart through memorization is both challenging and rewarding. Come to gain motivation and practical methods for this spiritual discipline. A – “WWJD: What Would Jesus Drink?” What does the Bible really teach about the consumption of Alcohol? Are believers called to be teetotalers or permitted to indulge freely? Join us in this workshop to examine God's view on the use of alcohol. A – “Chosen... and Precious” Does God's sovereign choice in saving some but not others, somehow lessen His gracious love? Come to this workshop to explore how God's predestination and compassion meet in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. P.S. The total number of attendees for this workshop has already been foreordained! |
B – “A Way of Escape”
You have been promised victory in your Christian life. But how can you stand when the pull of the world, the flesh and the devil seem insurmountable? Come and learn how to experience freedom in Christ. B – Can I Give You Some Counsel? Helping others through counseling isn’t only possible for you, but one of the most powerful ministries you can have. Join us to see how one broken person can help another equipped only with the gospel of Jesus Christ. B – “Being a Godly Student” There are pressures on every campus to promote yourself academically, socially and experientially. How can you both learn and keep biblical perspective and balance? This workshop will consider what it looks like to be a godly student. |
